Magnetic of China(SIAM), a state-run Institute of the Ministry of Information Industry of
China,was set up in Mianyang in 1967,now becomes the most comprehensive institute of
applied magnetic in China. SIAM has 1300 employees including 108 senior engineers and 300
engineers.SIAM owns11 research departments,6 workshops,3 corporations and 1 branch
institute settled in Zhuhai. SIAM now plays a leading role in the field of the magnetic in China. It is in charge of the following organizations:Magnetic Materials and Devices Association of China,Magnetic Materials and Devices Information Net of Electronics Industry,Institute of IEC/TC 51 Technology in China,Chinese Technical Committee of Magnetic Component and Ferrite Materials Standardization,and Quality Inspection&Test Center of Magnetic Products in the Electronic Industry. In past ten years, SIAM has undertaken more than 700 research items from nation, and won more than 70 awards from local province, the Ministry of Electronic Industry and nation,among which 30 items had get or over to advanced level in the world. In order to accelerate the transformation from research achievements to market products.SIAM has set up 5 production lines,which had formed a scale manufacture capacity.The main products of SIAM(registered BEI DOU trademark) be listed as follows:Microwave ferrite single crystal materials and Polycrystalline materials,YIG-tuned filters and oscillators,Waveguide circulators and isolators,Coaxial circulators and isolators,Microstrip circulators and isolators,Millimeter ferrite materials and devices,Rare-earth permanent magnetic materials(RCo5,R2C17,NdFeB) and Devices,Quenched magnetic powders,HDDR magnetic powders,Soft ferrite material series of MnZn and NiZn,EMI materials and devices ... Now,SIAM enjoys a good reputation for its products home and abroad. On the other hand,SIAM takes many ways to play an important role in national and international economic development, such as cooperation, technical servicing,academic exchanges,and so on . Though these success development forms, SIAM has relationship with U.S.,Japan,German,France,Korea.Russia.,Canada,Bulgaria,Dutch,Singapore, and HK, Taiwan province.
